Island Dreams a Bead Emporium was opened in October 2003 by Lori Armstrong and Dana Bradford (partners in ownership). In May 2006, Tammy Coker moved from Anchorage, Alaska, and purchased the Store. The store changed from a hobby shop to a beader’s paradise. Island Dreams Beads LLC became a place to metal smith, glass fuse, lampwork, bead stringing of every description and to seed bead weaving. With wall to wall findings, gemstones, tools, supplies, charms, delica’s, czech glass and any other thing a Jeweler would need to make their next masterpiece the store became a place for artists to gather, work and exchange ideas. Classes were available to share new techniques.
